Letter from Francisco de Goya to Martín Zapater (1746-1803), his childhood friend in Zaragoza, with information on some efforts with Isidoro Bosarte, secretary of the Royal Academy of San Fernando, on Zapater's commission. Note on the state of health of Goya, who a year earlier had lost his sense of hearing as a result of a serious crisis caused by saturnism.
