Letter from Francisco de Goya to Martín Zapater (1746-1803), his childhood friend in Zaragoza, with expression of congratulation for Zapater's appointment as nobleman of Aragon, in recognition of the services and resources provided for the supply of wheat to the City of Zaragoza. Mediation in favor of Joaquín Asensio, recommended by Zapater, in his claims to obtain the title of master of works by the Royal Academy of San Fernando. Evasive Zapater to travel to Madrid, despite Goya's insistence, and friendly coercion of the painter using his promise to portray him.
